Product details
The metallized bag-in-box with butterfly valve and screw cap is a liquid packaging system built from a flexible pouch and a corrugated outer carton. The pouch carries a screw cap and butterfly valve at the top; once filled and sealed it folds into the carton, where the board supplies stacking strength and the film supplies the seal and the barrier. It suits mid-volume handling of coffee concentrate and liquid egg, products that need protection from oxygen and light.
The pouch follows two material routes. Metallized film uses a vacuum-deposited metal layer on a polyester base, balancing light blocking against cost, while pure aluminium foil is heavier and gives a fuller barrier against oxygen and water vapour. Either route is laminated with a polyethylene inner layer that handles heat sealing and product contact, leaving the outer layer free for printing and abrasion resistance. Welding the valve seat to the pouch is the step that decides whether the pack leaks.
Volumes run from 1-20 L, so pouch dimensions can be matched to the filling weight. Printing is available in 1-8 colours, from full-coverage backgrounds to spot graphics or a restrained layout. Accessories are the valve and the carton, with valve bore and dispensing style agreed against the customer's filling line. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, and pouch style, artwork and size are all made to order.
Beyond coffee concentrate and liquid egg, the same construction is used for juice drinks, milk, sauces and red wine, which is why the keyword set lists BIB bags, bag-in-box, valve bags and liquid pouches as names for one family.
Production takes place at Kody Packaging in Dongguan, Guangdong, covering lamination, slitting, pouch making and valve welding through to outgoing inspection. Samples can be made from a customer drawing or a reference bag before volume production.
Because material combinations, print colours and pouch dimensions vary, pricing moves with the specification. Final quotations are based on the sample and the order quantity, and filled-product details are welcome for an accurate offer.
