This bag-in-box pouch is the inner bag of a wine BIB pack, supplied in sizes from 1 L to 20 L. The bag holds the wine and the valve lets it be drawn off in a glass-sized pour without opening the pack, and because the bag collapses as it empties and the valve closes against return flow, the wine stays fresh for weeks after the first pour.
The film is a PET + AL + PE laminate: the aluminium layer limits oxygen and light, which is what protects the wine, and the inner PE layer seals the bag edges and the valve seat. The valve is fitted to the bag top so it locates with the opening in the outer carton, and the bag dimensions are matched to the carton your pack uses.
