Product details
The custom double-gusset butterfly-valve spout pouch belongs to our double stand-up pouch range. Its base is built with a double-gusset construction so the pouch stands up on its own, while a butterfly valve and a spout at the top make pouring or drinking straightforward. It is aimed mainly at liquid packaging such as juice, beverages, wine and drinking water.
The pouch body is laminated from PET, AL, PA and PE, and every layer has its own job: PET contributes stiffness and good printability, AL brings barrier performance, PA raises toughness, and PE works as the heat-seal layer that closes the pouch. The double-gusset base forms supporting folds, which is what allows the pouch to stand without leaning on anything.
Thickness runs from 15 to 25 silk, common volumes cover 1-5L, and printing can be done in 0-8 colours, with artwork either supplied by the customer or designed for them. Valve and spout styles can be matched to the filling method and to how the liquid will be dispensed, and the minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces.
Typical uses are juice, beverage, wine and drinking-water packaging. A valved pouch is convenient for repeated dispensing, so it also appears in oil-valve bags and similar liquid categories where the flow rate needs to be controlled.
The pouches are produced by Kody Packaging in Dongguan, Guangdong. Lamination, slitting, pouch making and valve sealing follow one another on the line, and a sample can be made from your artwork or drawing for approval before bulk production.
