Made to order, this red-wine and spirits bag-in-box is a system of soft pouch plus outer carton: the bag holds the wine, the carton holds the shape and carries the printed face. Set against glass, a pouch takes a different position on shipping weight and breakage risk, which suits wine packaging meant to be drawn on over several sittings in e-commerce and food service, where a broken bottle is both a loss and a cleanup.
The body is a four-layer PET+AL+PA+PE lamination. The foil layer blocks light and oxygen, the nylon layer helps the bag take folding and pressing, and the inner PE layer is welded into one piece with the butterfly valve seat and spout. The stand-up base and double-gusset structure locate the bag inside the carton with the outlet facing out for easy draw-off, so nothing has to be fished out of the box at service time.
