Custom Foil Spout Pouch 1–50 g for Ultrasound Gel

A supplied foil pouch for medical ultrasound coupling gel, covering a 1–50 g volume range, made from aluminium foil and metallized laminate with a spout at the top for portioning and dispensing B-ultrasound gel. The volume span is wide enough that one pouch format can switch between small and larger fills, letting a single printed layout cover several product sizes.

A spout pouch is built by heat-sealing the laminate into a cavity and then welding the spout onto the body. The foil layer acts as the barrier, limiting the effect of light, oxygen and moisture vapour on the gel, while the metallized layer concentrates on light blocking at a lower pack weight. The inner layer balances seal strength against compatibility with the contents, and the seals must survive repeated squeezing.

Volume is picked from the 1–50 g band. Printing runs 1–8 colours, and customers can supply artwork for the plate-making and printing stages. Pouch length and width, spout type and extras such as hanging holes are all made to order, with an MOQ of 10,000 pcs.

Uses include medical ultrasound gel, ultrasound gel and blood-glucose test packaging, mainly serving ultrasound departments, health-check facilities and consumable distribution channels. For paste or semi-fluid products other than gel, the same spout pouch construction can be carried over.
