Custom Foil Spout Pouch 35 g for Ultrasound Gel

A factory-made foil spout pouch for ultrasound coupling gel, normally scheduled around a 35 g fill with a body volume range of 1–52 g. It is laminated from aluminium foil and metallized film and fitted with a spout at the top. Compared with a tear-open sachet, a spout pouch is easier to meter during a run of scans: the gel lands directly on the probe or the coupling area.

The format is a spout pouch, so the laminate is heat-sealed into a cavity and the spout base is welded into the top. Foil gives strong barrier performance, which suits gel that must be kept away from light, while the metallized build keeps the pouch opaque at a lower weight. The inner layer contacts the gel, so the seal has to hold while the spout still dispenses smoothly.

Volume is selected anywhere in the 1–52 g band. Printing can run 1–8 colours, with artwork, colour codes and registration set from the customer's files; pouch dimensions and spout type are matched to the filling line and the gel's thickness. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, and bag making and delivery are scheduled to order.

The main applications are medical ultrasound gel, ultrasound gel and blood-glucose test packaging, used by ultrasound departments, maternity and health-check facilities and medical device distributors. Beyond gel, the same spout pouch structure also works for other semi-fluid fills packed as portions.
